Whenever we look back in time, there are always some things we want to change, Some decisions we might have taken, Some fears we might have shooed away, Some insecurities we might have done without, Some risks which would have been worth taken. This poem is nothing but an expression of such retrospection.
Once upon a time
I asked the Time
''Can I make you rhyme
in the ways i define,
turn thine drift reverse
and in those moments I immerse
which promised me bliss
eternal, pure and beyond my wish
Unable to comprehend
I judged them all errant
and in this web of gloom, did I recede
which none but I only weaved?
Tell me you steadfast,
Can I tear the threads apart
and make the light enter
to each minute of this chamber?''
Waited and waited I
for the Time to reply
but unfazed and mean
it drifted, typically, serene.
The more I abaited
more unperturbed it seemed.
Does it's resolve hold the key,
this is how it remains, whatever it be?
